I searched high and low on the internet for an exact copy of this book, and could not find one.

Copyright 1938, true first edition, however, unlike any of the other designs of the first editions.

1st edition typically features a blue with red text & white polka dots front and back board design, this edition features orange boards with an illustration by Tasha Tudor.

Very possible this might be an early release prior to the blue hardcover first edition release?

With that said, the book is in fair condition.

Ex-library edition. On the spine, in painted letters is "J Tu".

Front flyleaf page is missing, book plate stickers present, Library stamp on the copyright page.

Title page is taped, multiple other pages feature tape repairs, tears, stains, etc.
