Scarce grouping of nine antique German-made Halloween black cat embossed die cuts, circa 1920s, each measuring approximately 2 inches. Marked “Gibson Line – Made in Germany” on the reverse. The German-made Gibson Line Halloween decorations are an elusive and seldom-documented variation of early Gibson holiday ephemera. Halloween collector and researcher Mark B. Ledenbach has documented the unusual German Gibson markings, suggesting a relatively limited period of production.
Damage and wear as noted in the photos. A few of the pieces have incomplete tails. There are creases and edge wear.
Each measures approximately 1.5“ x 2“
Item(s) may show light signs of wear consistent with age and use over the years, including marks, scuffs, light scratches, small dings, toning or light discoloration, etc. Please view all photos.
