An interesting vintage "MOBY DICK" serrated utility/butcher knife measuring approximately 10.5" overall with a 6.25" serrated steel blade. This knife is nearly identical in every observable respect to the well-known Remington K2306 "Moby Dick" pattern, including the blade profile, dimensions, serrations, handle shape, three-rivet construction, and original acid-etched "MOBY DICK" blade marking. However, unlike documented Remington examples, this knife bears no tang stamp or manufacturer markings. It may represent an unmarked contract-produced example, a private-label variant, or another manufacturer's version of the same pattern. I have been unable to positively identify the maker, so buyers are encouraged to review the photos and draw their own conclusions regarding attribution and originality.
One small hairline on the backside near the top rivet.
