Vintage Continental Nuts Country General Store Advertising Display Peanuts Candy

I presume it worked as follows. One would remove the glass top lid and pour in nuts or candy from the top, and fill it nearly to the top. When a customer wished to purchase, the store clerk would remove the top glass and use a small candy scoop. As the nuts dwindled down, the store clerk would use the back door.

Two chips on the corner of the top glass lid and a few fleabite chips along the edges. No other chips or cracks in the glass.

Not certain if the middle piece of glass is original to the case or not, as it is slighlty shorter than the case itself
