Rare Vintage 1920s HANDEL Signed Trellis Rose Glass Shade Desk Lamp
Original and authentic signed HANDEL slag/stained glass shade featuring the trellis and rose pattern. Signed on the upper fitter ring of the shade.
One small crack about a half in long in one of the yellowish-beige panels, see pictures. No other breaks, cracks, or chips. Some light wear consistent with the age. Glass is tight and no missing overlay.
The lamp base is unmarked. It was purchased from the estate as-is pictured with the Handel shade, however, it is unknown if this is an unsigned base attributed to Handel or just a period age lamp base
The shade itself measures approximately 7" (at the widest point) by 6.5" tall with a 3.25" diameter.
From the base of the lamp to the top of the shade, the lamp measures about 14.5" tall
Finial is not original and appears to be more modern
Note, due to the fragility of the shade, this will ship in two separate parcels; the shade in Box 1 and the lamp base in Box 2.
