An original copper advertising trade sign for “Webster School Shoes,” produced by the Wertheimer Swartz Shoe Company of St. Louis, dating to approximately 1905–1915.
A scarce example of an early advertising sign crafted in copper.
The left edge appears to have been slightly trimmed at some point.
Surface shows verdigris and oxidation consistent with age. It may respond to cleaning, though no attempts have been made.
