RARE ANTIQUE 1800S BROWN STONEWARE WATER FIELD JUG DOUBLE HANDLE 5 GALLON JUG

Used on the farm wagons to carry water for the horses while they were working in the fields!

Marked "A5" near the neck of the jug.

No cracks or breaks but one small chip on the backside base. Few small imperfections in the glaze, see photos.

Approx. 16" tall and 11" from handle to handle with a 12" diameter base
