Note, I am far from an expert on firearm parts, and I used Google Lens to help ID this with the buttplate, I could be completely wrong but I believe it is for a U.S. Model 1903 Springfield rifle.

It needs work / restoration. Could use a good cleaning. Slight crack right side, near the top edge (see photos 14 & 15)
