A remarkable piece of history from the late 19th century! Original wooden smaltz painted building trade sign for Adams Express Company! Company was in operation under the name from about 1855 to 1920 and was one of the largest shipping couriers in all of the United States

Loss on the lower right corner and the sign has has a crack in it on the left corner. Some wear to the paint and other light wear consistent with the age. See all photos.
