Early vintage Nikon Zoom-Nikkor Auto 50-300mm f/4.5 telephoto zoom lens, serial No. 751263.
This is an early Nippon Kogaku Japan, pre-AI Nikon F-mount example of the 50-300mm f/4.5. Serial-number information places No. 751263 very near the beginning of the 751xxx black-rim production series, dating approximately to the late 1960s / circa 1968-1971.
The Zoom-Nikkor 50-300mm f/4.5 was introduced in 1967 and was an impressive professional-grade zoom for its era, providing a wide 6x focal-length range while maintaining a constant f/4.5 maximum aperture.
This example is being sold untested and as found. I have not professionally evaluated the optics or tested all focusing, zoom and aperture functions. Exterior shows expected age-related wear, scratches, scuffs and finish loss. Please inspect all photos carefully for cosmetic and optical condition.
