Circa 1870s-1890s hand-turned baseball bat!
Visible, crude lathe center mark on the knob, heavy pine tar / oil staining across the entire length of the bat! Appears to be some sort of metal plug at the end of the barrel.
Bat does not appear to be marked, however, it is hard to tell with the pine tar / oil staining on it.
