General Rules for Shipping Stoneware:

• Firstly, Local Pickup at our store is always preferred due to the fragility of these early pieces. 
• 3 Gallon or smaller stoneware pieces: can typically be shipped safely. We double or triple box stoneware for safe arrival. Just note, shipping can sometimes be on the higher side due to weight and box dimensions.
•  4 gallon stoneware pieces can sometimes be shipped depending on their condition. Stoneware with cracks makes shipping through a normal carrier such as UPS, difficult and usually needs to go with a freight shipping service.
• 5 Gallon or Larger: Typically need to go through white glove freight shipping services with a Freight company, such as a general moving company. The starting cost for this service is typically $200, depending on the size of the crock.
