Antique Early 1900s Scene-in-Action Corp Cast Motion Lamp Cabin Forest Fire
Neat rotating motion lamp from the early 1900s made by the Scene-in-Action Corp of Chicago.
Beautiful amber glow that depicts a forest fire in the background of a cabin scene.
Two small chips in the paper wrap on the glass, near the seam.
No cracks or chips in the cast, glass or any other pieces.
Good working order! As the lamp is plugged in, the bulb heats up and causes the plastic insert to spin, which gives the illusion that the fire in roaring in the woods!
I would recommend re-wiring the lamp. Lamp cord is split and the rubber is brittle.
Approx.9" tall and 5.75" from one leg to another leg on the base
