Early 20th century miniature functional icebox, believed to have been produced as a salesman sample or dealer display model. Remarkably detailed construction includes a separate galvanized ice compartment, ribbed drain floor, functional metal drain tube extending through the lower compartment, galvanized interior lining, shelf, working doors and substantial period hardware. Measures approximately 19.75" tall × 11" wide × 5" deep. Retains an old green painted surface with age-related wear.
Note, the "catch" on the top door hardware is broken off, thus, the top door does not stay closed unless pushed tightly into space.
