An exceptional example of a 19th century braided hair watch fob chain with a celestial & eight pointed rhinestone star adorned locket.
While the locket and chain links on the watch fob chain are not marked as gold, these are very likely gold filled, as typical for jewelry from this time period, however, it has not been tested.
Some corrosion on the surface of the watch fob chain closure that will require some cleaning.
Approx. 11.25" in total length or about 9" in hair length.
