A nice charming piece, likey made of walnut or some walnut veneer with some great carving detail on the top and bottom! Likeliy would have been a bathroom shaving storage cabinet. Features a round mirror, ornate carved crest, and a drop-front storage compartment with a white porcelain knob. The two small shelves nearest the mirror could have held the shaving mugs. Likely dating to the early 1900s.
The piece shows age-appropriate wear, including light scratches and scuffs, but remains solid and functional. Some portions neaer the mirror have a milky like haze on the wood finish- see detailed photos. The mirror has some natural aging and spotting, consistent with its age. One of the small shelves nearest the mirror has a little corner missing near the back, closest to the mirror - see photos.
Measures about 24 inches tall overall and about 11 inches wide, and sticks off the wall about 5.75".
Bottom drop front compartment measures about 10 1/4“ x 5 1/2“ deep by 4.75” inches tall.
