Exceptional example of a 19th century farrier/blacksmith rolling tool box! This tool tote came out of an estate in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and still retains original swivel casters and forged iron trim with a horseshoe embellished on the side.
Circa 1850s-1880s
The rolling tool box has had a finish applied to the surface to protect the wood and patina!
