Antique Hobbs Coin Dot Blue Opalescent Art Glass EAPG Oil Lamp
Note, I believe the milk glass base to possibly be a LG Wright copy from the 20th century. I cannot be certain if the base is a copy or original to the period. Uncertain of the pattern of the font but appears to be a Hobbs dot pattern of some sort. It also appears one of the dots or “bubbles” had been broken and was reglued in place.
Measures approx. 11.25” tall to the burner
This oil lamp likely dates between the 1870s-1890s, or what it considered the Golden Age of Oil Lamps, when manufacturers began considering the aesthetic and artistic nature of oil lamps as opposed to just the functionality.
