An exceptional early German candy container apple with a jack o' lantern face. This heavy composition candy container has a wonderful painted face with big white/blue/black eyes, a red nose, and a large smile with white block teeth with a removable brown stem that inserts into the top of the head. The candy container insert pulls out from the bottom and works perfectly. This wonderful piece is in excellent condition other than a small speck of red paint and crazing on his nose. These apple candy containers are very hard to find and they're a stunning example of early German Halloween artistry.
