Exquisite example of a mid 19th century glass whale oil lamp featuring a stemmed / footed base and adorned in hand drawn gold paint accents!
Features one of the smallest burners made for oil lamps, made by Thiel & Bardenheuer of Ruhla Germany.
The prongs of the burner had been bent outwards to adapt an inappropriate chimney, however, they can easily be bent back into place.
The original chimney is missing, but it appears it would require a chimney with a 1-1/2" diameter
Measures approx. 7-1/4" tall from the base to the top of the burner
