RARE Antique 1920s Halloween German Jack O Lantern JOL Candle Holder Large 11.5"

Incredible circa 1920s German-made pressed cardboard JOL candle holder with original paper insert.

This is one of the largest I have ever seen, and very likely, the largest size they made these pressed cardboard candle holders!

Hard to find these large size German JOLs...don't miss out!

Measures approx. 11.5" across and 9" tall

Missing the original wire handle.

Please note, this latern has had some very well made repairs made. When I had received this, it had been damaged in shipping. It had a large crack extendeing from the top down to the left eye, another large crack extending from the left eye and across the nose, and a crack between the nose and mouth. Moreover, the seam on the right side had been split. Paper mache was added on the inside to tighten up and fix the seam. The cracks had been repaired with some bonding agent as well as paper mache and had been toughed up with orange paint. I have added photos at the end of the listing showing how the JOL had looked before repairs were made.

Note, very last photo shows the size compared to a standard size American and standard size German JOL.

These old ones are rather fragile and this should be handled with extreme care!
