An impressive piece of Americana here! Circa 1880s-90s hand stitched banner for the fraternal organization "Loyal Americans of the Republic".
Little can be found on the organization, and it was one of many fraternal organizations to from post-Civil War, but the small amount of info I could find associated the organization with the goal of protection and purity of American families.
Banner shows perfect age wear and is professionally framed!
