Constructed of solid oak with attractive quarter-sawn grain throughout, and featuring a pair of glazed doors opening to an adjustable shelved interior. The piece exhibits individually fitted solid wood backboards, hand-cut shelf support notches.

According to the previous owner's provenance, the cabinet was built and attributed to a deaf and mute craftsman from Florence County, Wisconsin, although this attribution has not been independently documented.

Measures approximately 44.25“ x 12.75“ at the top crown. Overall, it measures 42.5” x 12” x 60” for the center body.

Overall, the cabinet presents well and remains structurally sound. There is a small loss to the wood trim along the left side of the lower base molding. The finish exhibits scattered nicks, scuffs, scratches, and general surface wear consistent with age, use, and handling over the years. A small section of trim on the upper left door shows minor warping near the top and could likely be stabilized with a small amount of wood glue if desired. As shown in the photographs, there is an approximate 1/4" gap between the two doors when closed. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are considered part of the description and condition report.

https://brothersantique.com/products/arts-crafts-mission-oak-bookcase-cabinet-quarter-sawn-oak-wisconsin-made
